Falmouth is our hometown and haveing grown up in Cornwall we have visited Pendennis Castle more times than we can remember. Honestly though you learn something new everytime from the WW2 parts of this castle to King Henry VIII. This is also a brilliant place to take in the incredible scenery of Falmouth Bay, Carrick Roads with incredible views across to St Anthony's Lighthouse and St Mawes Castle. TOP TIP if you get a Cornwall Hertiage Trust pass you can get into all the castles in Cornwall for a fraction of the price.
