Cornwall Family Life POV
Our Honest Family Perspective on Lost Gardens of Heligan
We last visited Heligan during early 2026 to enjoy roller skating and reduced entry to the gardens. Despite the rain the kids loved exploring the vast gardens and in particular the incredible wooden fox statue. Steve Backshall and Maddie Moate are performing during the 2026 summer holidays, our kids can't wait to visit.
Overview
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are one of the most romantic and enchanting gardens in Britain. Neglected for decades after World War One, these magnificent Victorian gardens were rediscovered and restored in the 1990s, revealing 200 acres of extraordinary horticultural heritage.
